The brief
A calm, premium chimney specialist site with a postcode quote bar.
Chimney work is expensive and most homeowners do not know what is wrong. The site had to diagnose the problem, explain the fix and reassure, all while making a free survey the obvious next step.
The approach
- 01
Researched real chimney and masonry firms in the region to ground the colours, then refined it into a calm slate and stone palette.
- 02
Put a postcode + "what do you need?" survey bar in the hero, so the first interaction already qualifies the lead.
- 03
Added a self-diagnosis section (leaks, crumbling mortar, damp patches) so visitors recognise their problem.
- 04
Built out service, reviews, FAQ and about pages with clear pricing guidance and a 10-year guarantee badge.
